Palin is a flake
She's quitting her job as Governor of Alaska. For a laundry list of muddled excuses. What other interpretation is there, other than outright flakiness? I mean, really? What I really want to know is, how many other governors have quit prior to the end of their term? And for what reasons?

There's a scandal a-comin', the only question is what it is. My guess is she's pregnant with Rush Limbaugh's lovechild.

I just am not sure how she really thinks that quitting as Governor 3 years before the next Presidential election is going to help her win. I just don't see it. For the sake of the Republican Party (which I'm not yet ready to abandon) I sure hope she crashes and fails, so that she's not "anointed" our nominee. Please!
Scandal. Only reason.
It gives her time to travel, hit every Republican fund raiser, speak, and make all kinds of money to run for president. Maybe she'll spend some of that time studying up on the world.
If it's between scandal and running in 2012, I'd bet on the 2012 option.
