On the other side of things, I checked my kid's email account, something I rarely do. In fact, it's been over two months since I last checked it. It's been even longer since Q has used the account. Anyway, there was an unread message from early December that is troubling me. Her friend sent her an email asking Q if Q was mad at the friend. Then the friend said that if she didn't recieve a reply from Q by the end of the month, that she had five words for Q, and here are their initials: Y A W T J.
The friend finished off the note with "p.s. bye dead girl".
WTH?

I don't know what the letters stand for, but the post-script is pretty sinister. Any way you can ask Q how things stand with that girl without worrying her?
I asked her after I picked her up, and she said they were playing a game pretending to be ghosts. Context is everything, n'est-ce pas? I guess things are cool between them now. That's good, because I really liked that girl, and thought the email was quite atypical of her. So the lesson is to wait a day before posting that kind of thing. Sigh.
Oh, hey, that reminds me... Amanda, guess what? My husband got me Rosetta Stone, French, as a Christmas present! Now all three of us can practice. C'est magnifique!!! I love it. Do you get to speak or use it very often?
Glad to hear that all is well. I'll try to keep in mind context. I always stumble there.
